About AGR

We are the Zeta Chapter of Alpha Gamma Rho (AGR), a social-professional fraternity founded in 1914 at Cornell University. Our fraternity is unique in the Interfraternity Council (IFC) for its dual focus as a social-professional fraternity. AGR is committed to nurturing well-rounded individuals who excel academically, socially, and professionally from all backgrounds.Originally established in 1904 at Ohio State University, Alpha Gamma Rho has thrived, extending its presence to 71 campuses across the nation.

While AGR historically catered exclusively to students in agricultural disciplines, our fraternity has evolved to welcome members pursuing diverse paths, united under core values of integrity and hard work. This expansion reflects our dedication to inclusivity and our recognition of the interconnected nature of these vital sectors. At Cornell AGR, we are proud of our legacy and excited about our future. We strive to cultivate leaders who will make significant contributions to their fields and communities, continuing the tradition of excellence that defines Alpha Gamma Rho.
